ST. PETER'S NAROK

In this Jubilee Year of Hope, St. Peters Parish, Narok on Sunday 5th October, witnessed one of the largest numbers of confirmands to be confirmed in the Parish over five hundred candidates.

In his reflection while presiding over the celebrations, Bishop John Oballa asked the confirmands and the faithful to rekindle the gift within them and stand firm in faith.

“Rekindle the gift of God that is within you.” Do not be timid or afraid, for you have received the Spirit of power, love, and self-control. Stand firm in your faith. Be ready to bear witness to Christ, even when it is difficult. Persevere in your Christian calling until the end.”

He asked the community of faith, to rekindle the fire of faith in their hearts, calling them to encourage young people being to protect and cherish their faith, to continue learning about it, and to witness it boldly in their lives.

St. Peters Parish serves eight outstations, St. Peters, Prison, Olopito, Motonyi, Iltumtum, Oletukat, Murua and Olchoro. Below are photos of the day
